You are the only person who can move yourself out of overwhelm and into a more present, positive mindset.

When you take care of yourself, you can take better care of them.

Becoming a mom sure is rewarding, but it’s not easy.

In fact, it’s often overwhelming. Have you forgotten who you are outside of your career and your kids?

If you’ve been unsuccessfully trying to manage your home, career, relationships, and social life all while trying to find space for yourself…I can relate.

Hi, I'm Emily!

I coach working, middle-aged moms, many of them in the nursing field, who are typically quite stressed and struggling to maintain it all.

I have been where you are right now.

I have been in the trenches, stuck in that negative, never-going-to-happen mentality. You might have access to every tool you need to change your life, but continue to self-sabotage your success and stay stuck.

Self-care is more than a trip to the grocery store alone or an uninterrupted shower, and it’s never, ever selfish.

I am not perfect, and I don’t expect you to be. But I do have the tools and support you need to stop waiting for change and start living TODAY.

Putting all the components together.

I never thought I would lose myself so deeply in motherhood, and I see this in many of my clients.

On Thanksgiving in 2016, I pushed a double stroller and walked a 5k Turkey Trot, feeling frumpy and grumpy, but nonetheless cheering on a few of my family members who were running the race. It was then and there that I realized I had lost a piece of who I was

Before I threw myself full-force into motherhood, I was a high-school athlete turned nursing-school grad/running club member and an all-out 5k junkie. To me, running was so much more than an activity I enjoyed. Not only was it a fitness benchmark, but it was also part of my identity

If I could have a solid minutes per mile pace then I knew I was in shape. I was good. I had my positive mojo. After three babies in five years, working a full-time, physically, mentally and emotionally demanding job, and trying to keep the plates spinning at home, running was the  last thing on my list of priorities.

My own physical, emotional, and spiritual self-care was not on my radar. Needless to say, I was struggling.

Thankfully, my story doesn’t end there. I discovered an amazing group of women with incredible hearts. I began my journey as a Beachbody BODi coach, lost the remaining weight, ate better, slept better, and started to feel fantastic about myself, especially when it came to helping others. My new, supportive community shared their tools, and taught me how to make time for me amongst the chaos.

When the pandemic hit, the wheels fell off. It put everyone through the ringer, but as a healthcare worker, seeing and trying to comprehend so much suffering and sadness left a mark. I began therapy, and by focusing on small changes and my mindset throughout the day, I was able to crawl out of that dark hole

It became my mission to help others feel better and more fulfilled. I joined the Josh Coats Life Coach certification program and learned how to help others get unstuck and find purpose and potential again.

It’s been seven years since that Turkey Trot, and while I’ve been through so much, I am no longer the exhausted mama hiding behind my kids in a photo. Other than my kids and my amazing husband, my focus is to help others connect the links in their own lives.
